Project Management

Zanron has expertise in the management of small and large projects. We use integrated project control software (Sage 100 Contractor) to develop a cost control budget that can be monitored and reported against.

We also utilise excel gantt charts to schedule simple projects and Primavera P6 to schedule more complex projects.

We understand the criticality of up to date reporting and need to manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.

We can work with any Client requirements to provide a project management framework to cover safety, risk, cost, schedule and quality assurance.

Design & Engineering

Zanron has three full time engineers inhouse and works closely with local engineering consultants to be able to deliver full engineering solutions.

From the design of small replacement parts and bespoke machine guarding to custom industrial gas systems and complete industrial buildings, Zanron can provide all your design and engineering requirements.

With many years expereince in the industrial sector, we can provide experise in material handling, guarding, gas systems, hyrdaulic systems, HVAC, alumina and aluminium processing equipment, structural steel design, welding and machine parts (shafts, splines etc).

Fabrication & Machining

Zanron has a complete fabrication and machine shop to manufacture all manner of items to support the local industrial sectors. Our local shops provides a competitive advantage to our Clients for quick turn around times and easy access to their sites.

We have three full time machinists and nine full time fabricators and welders with many years of experience and knowledge in industrial fabrication,

In addition, we also have a full sheet metal shop for all your custom HVAC and cladding / flashing needs.

Recently we have added a pipe shop area to support the LNG industry during the construction and eventually into the on-going maintenance phase.

Sandblasting & Painting

In 2018, Zanron built new Sandblasting and Painting facilities in Kitimat. The new facilties incorporate the latest design requirements including full dust collection in teh sandblast facility and ventliation and explosion proof devices in the paint shop.

The paint shop is fully heated and climate controlled to ensure we can paint with the highest quality throughout the whole year.

In addition, we can also accomodate any galanzing requirements through our dedicated subcontractor in Western Canada.

We also follow our quality program that encompasses our painting work through inspections and record keeping that is provided during the turnover process.

Site Installation

Zanron has multi-disciplinary site crews able to install your most complex projects. We have partnered with Houle Electric Ltd to be able to deliver full Mechanical and Electrical packages under one roof.

We have experise in gas / pipe fitting, mechanical equipment installation, steel erection, industrial cladding and insulation, capentery, millwrighting, critical shutdown work, crane installations / repair and general industrial construction.

We typically run a site crew between 50 - 100 people including site supervision, safety management and project administration.

Whilst we enjoy the challenge of greenfield construction, we have expertise in brownfield operations and executing work in a team environment to achieve the goal.
